🩷 Body OS support

You don’t need the perfect words.

If food, exercise or how you feel about your body has started to feel scary, secret, punishing or hard to switch off, tell someone. You do not have to wait until it feels 'serious' enough.

Borrow these words if you need them.

“I think food or exercise is getting a bit too loud in my head and I don’t really know what to do.”

“I’m not sure how serious this is, but I don’t want to wait for it to get worse.”

“Can I tell you something without you trying to fix it straight away? I just need you to listen first.”

You can say it out loud, send it as a text, show someone this page, or hand them your phone. It still counts as asking for help.

Who can you tell?

Pick the safest person you can think of. If the first person does not understand, try another.
